Drug dealing duo remanded in custody
GNR police have arrested two drug dealers in the Algarve after they were found with over 5,000 doses of hashish.
The couple were detained on Tuesday (April 23) and were also in the possession of over 1,000 doses of cocaine which were seized, along with four mobile phones, a vehicle, a precision scale, and other materials used in the production and packaging of drugs.
The investigation, which had been ongoing for one month and was carried out with the help of PSP police, found that the two suspects were responsible for selling the drugs to consumers in Loulé and Olhão.
Three search warrants and an arrest warrant were issued, leading to the arrest of the man, aged 40, and the woman, 38.
The two suspects have appeared before a judge and been remanded in custody.
