Covid-19: Share Algarve postponed until October

Following the coronavirus prevention measures of the last few days, organisers have confirmed that the Share Algarve conference – which was due to take place on April 14 and 15 – has been postponed until October.

In a statement to the press last week, they said postponing the conference was “out of the question”, however, “unfortunately, a lot has changed in the last few days and now we are forced to review our decision”.

Organisers said that although the number of cases in Portugal is still relatively low, they acknowledge that the future is hard to predict and “this could change”.

“We will continue to follow the situation closely to see how it progresses on a national and global level before we announce a new date,” the organisers said, setting October 22 and 23 as a temporary date for now.
