Tomorrow (Thursday) will see health centres offering Covid booster jabs extend their ‘Open House’ policy to any SNS users (previously double-vaccinated) who want to take up the offer of third (tweaked to Omicron) booster jabs. Say reports today, this far 2.9 million people have responded to the autumn vaccination campaign – a number of them opting to take flu jabs at the same time. Says the country’s ‘vaccine coordinator’ Colonel Penha Gonçalves, 80% of Portugal’s most vulnerable citizens have responded to the appeal to get ‘boosted’.
