CP warns of “significant upset” due to new train strike

Portugal’s train operator CP – Comboios de Portugal – has warned of significant upset coming as yet another national strike will hit the network, starting on Tuesday. Wednesday is apparently the day in which services will be worst affected, with the strike continuing until January 11. Trains were already affected last week when members of staff of Infraestruturas Portugal (IP) held a two-day strike over salaries and working conditions.
