Dear Editor,
I read with interest your article on people living/working illegally in Portugal. I have a home in the Algarve and the taxi drivers are regularly telling me about this problem.
It was refreshing to read that at last some sort of crackdown seems to be happening which will hopefully stem the large numbers of illegal people from entering this lovely country.
I do pay my taxes legally in Portugal by the way!
Perhaps more residents of the Algarve should make their voices heard regarding this problem.
