A VIOLENT squirrel attacked and injured three people in a German town.
The squirrel, thought to be ill, ran into a house and attacked a 70-year-old woman from behind and bit her on the hand. The distressed woman ran into the street, where she managed to shake it off. The squirrel then attacked a man in a builder’s yard but he managed to knock it off with a pole. Finally, the squirrel ran into a 72-year-old man’s garden and violently attacked his arms and legs. The man had no choice but to kill the savage squirrel. Experts believe the attacks may have been linked to the mating season or illness.
