EU OFFICIALS were baffled when they stopped a Palestinian woman at the Gaza-Egypt border and discovered that she had three live crocodiles taped to her stomach.
Despite her loose robe, the authorities became suspicious by her girth. When she was caught, she told the guards that she planned to sell the reptiles, which were on average half-a-metre long, to a zoo in Gaza City. She was arrested, but later released and the crocodiles were returned to Egypt.
