WHILE ATTEMPTING to give a crocodile at a zoo an anaesthetic injection, a veterinarian in Taiwan had his arm bitten off.
In a state of shock, he was rushed to hospital while zoo workers tried to retrieve the severed limb from the crocodile’s mouth by shooting it. After six hours of surgery, surgeons managed to reattach the vet’s arm and he was said to be recovering well. The gory incident was caught on camera and the crocodile, which is alive and well, has been enjoying its five minutes of fame as people are flocking to the zoo since hearing the news.
