A 40-year-old man, who had been on the run after being sentenced to six years in prison for drug trafficking, was arrested by PSP police in Portimão.
The suspect was caught on Sunday during a traffic stop and was found with a fake driver’s license and ID card. He was in possession of €9,800, believed to be from criminal activity, which was seized. Police also confiscated 6.35 grams of cocaine, a mobile phone, 45 cutting agent packets.
