The Douro European City of Wine 2023 will hold its closing gala on Saturday in Sernancelhe after a year with 600 activities that have promoted the region and valued producers and winegrowers who preserve the landscape. President of the Douro Intermunicipal Community Carlos Silva Santiago said the gala “will be a moment when we relive a year of intense promotion of the Douro, of affirming the region on the national and international scene, through more than 600 activities that included conferences, workshops, shows and wine tastings in the 19 municipalities of our territory”.
