A NEW Portuguese wine from Quinta de Maritávora in the Douro region was launched at the Veneza restaurant in Mem Moniz, near Paderne on July 24.
Several Quinta de Maritávora wines were sampled during the launch, including the red and white reserve wines, of which only 3,300 and 2,100 were produced respectively. Also available for tasting was Portugal’s first brand of champagne, De Sousa et Fils, produced in the champagne region of northern France.
All of these wines are available for purchase from the distributors, Mister Wine and Restaurante Veneza’s extensive wine shop.
