Now in its sixth year, the Dried Fruits Festival (Mostra de Frutos Secos) returns to Paderne this weekend with traditional gastronomy focusing on the best the Algarve trees have to offer.
Visitors to the festival will have the chance to delight in sweets made with fig, almond, carob and other typical fruits from the region.
Stalls at the event will also be selling other local produce, liqueurs and handicraft.
Musical entertainment will be by traditional Algarve groups.
The event, organised by Paderne Junta de Freguesia with the support of Albufeira Câmara, takes place on Saturday and Sunday at the João Campos car park from 3.30pm to 11pm.
