DUNA BEACH is a new concept of relaxation and dining offered by the Tivoli Hotel at Meia Praia beach in Lagos.
It focuses on going back to basics, from the decoration of the bar and pool area through to the restaurant. Neutral tones such as white and chocolates have been used with natural materials with a touch of orange in the detail, the signature colour at Duna Beach.
“As Duna Beach faces a beautiful coastline with views to the sea, we have tried to bring these calming effects inside and create a relaxing atmosphere,” said Rui Valdir, Duna Beach’s club manager, adding: “Our restaurant is a very intimate and relaxing space, with windows on every wall. It offers a wonderful dining experience.”
The menu offers a varied selection of light and original dishes including salads such as; Greek salad and Duna Beach salad with chick peas, red beans and tropical fruits, soups, fish dishes such as; prawn curry,

meat dishes, vegetarian dishes, risottos and pastas. Desserts are also featured on a separate menu and include a selection of classics with an original twist like crème brûlée with coconut and mint.
Jerónimo Abreu, the Chef at Duna Beach, who trained at the Parisian school of Ferrandi, told The Resident: “With this menu, I have included a variety of dishes with inspirations from around the world,” adding, “I want to offer our clients the chance to escape from everyday life with interesting food that is fresh and well presented.”
Jerónimo has also created a finger food menu at Duna Beach, consisting of four different dishes. These include a selection of sushi, seafood, cheese and meat dishes. “This concept works very well, especially on the beach or by the pool to accompany drinks”.
Duna Beach offers cocktails which include fresh fruit, like strawberries and mangos. Many different coffees are also offered including Irish, Algarvean and Royal coffees.
Duna Beach is the perfect setting for a relaxing meal with wonderful views, music and a varied and exciting menu.
