Today’s Council of Ministers, focused on kick-starting the economy, has approved more support lines for tourism, with a credit line of €10 million for inland projects and another of €50 million for sustainable projects. The Accelerate the Economy Programme was approved by ministers in Oliveira de Azeméis, Aveiro district, and presented at a press conference with the prime minister, Luís Montenegro, the minister for the economy, Pedro Reis, and finance minister Joaquim Miranda Sarmento (see top story to come). Among the 60 measures that make up the programme is the revision and reinforcement of lines of support for tourism, such as the + Interior Tourism Line, which aims to support the sustainable tourist development of the territories, with an allocation of €10 million.
