On Sunday, March 31 at 4pm, there will be an English-language Easter Sunday Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Incarnation – Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Encarnação – on the eastern cliffs above Carvoeiro.
Come and celebrate the joy of the Risen Lord!
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. All residents and visitors are welcome. Padre Nuno Coelho, our parish priest, will be the celebrant.
There will be a retiring collection for the Lagoa Cáritas Food Bank, which helps over 100 families in need at this time.

Maundy Thursday, March 28 – The Last Supper: 6.30pm Mexilhoeira da Carregação; 9pm Lagoa Mass with “Washing of the Feet” followed by Adoration and “The Watch” till midnight.
Good Friday, March 29: 3pm Lagoa – The Passion; 6.30pm Parchal – The Passion; 10pm Lagoa – Procession.
Holy Saturday, March 30: 10pm Lagoa – Easter Vigil.
Easter Sunday, March 31 – The Resurrection of Our Lord: 9am Mexilhoeira da Carregação; 10.30am Parchal; 12 noon Lagoa ; 4pm Carvoeiro – Mass in English.
