EDP Renováveis announced on Tuesday that it has sold the Indiana Crossroads Solar Park, in Indiana, United States, to Northern Indiana Public Service Company for approximately US$300 million (€281 million).
In a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), EDP Renováveis notes that the sale represented US$1.5 million per megawatt.
This transaction was made under a ‘build and transfer’ agreement and comes after the initial ‘mechanical completion’ phase of this 200 MWac park, in the state of Indiana.
According to the information sent to the market today, with this transaction EDPR “has already secured €3.4 billion of proceeds from asset rotation that is inserted in the context of the €8 billion asset rotation programme for 2021-25”.
