Egyptair has started a direct flight between Lisbon and Cairo twice a week, ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal announced today, suggesting the new route will be ‘important’ “as it provides a link between two historic capitals” and “creates a gateway for travellers to explore the rich cultural, historical and economic landscapes of both countries”. The new route is being flown with Airbus A321neo aircraft and takes approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes.
