Eight people were arrested for drug trafficking – six men and two women aged between 17 and 41 – and 187 doses of drugs were seized in the Algarve between Thursday and Saturday (June 2-4).
The arrests came during “random surveillance operations” in Albufeira, Vilamoura and Portimão, mostly at nightlife hotspots.
The operation also led to the seizure of 47 doses of cocaine, 138 doses of hashish, two doses of cannabis, one mobile phone and €580 in cash.
