Two new environmental centres are to open in the Azores this year, extending the popular current network which attracted 91,537 visitors from January to October 2013. The interpretative centre of Serra de Santa Bárbara will open on the island of Terceira in March, followed by the centre of Pedreira do Campo on the island of Santa Maria.
