The eurozone’s annual inflation rate rose slightly to 7.0% in April, after six months of consecutive declines, according to a flash estimate released today by Eurostat. According to the estimate , the annual inflation rate advanced from 6.9% in March to 7.0% in April, while remaining short of 7.4% in the same month of 2022. In Portugal, annual inflation was 6.9%, down from 8.0% in March and 7.4% in April 2022.
