The expansion of São Brás de Alportel’s cemetery has started and is expected to cost over €400,000.
“Works are moving along at a good pace,” São Brás town hall says in a statement to the press.
The expansion will include the creation of a new graveyard section, construction of new walls, installation of water infrastructure, sanitation, electricity and new paths, as well the creation of a section for temporary burials.
