Faro’s Municipal Veterinary Service and local PSP police conducted an animal welfare inspection in Horta da Areia and Lejana de Cima on November 19.
The operation targeted unleashed pets in public spaces and identified strays with health issues. Two dogs were rescued and sent to Faro’s kennel for medical care. Post-recovery, they’ll be put up for adoption.
