Snails, one of Portugal’s favourite delicacies, will be taking centre stage in Faro this weekend in another edition of ‘Festa do Caracol’ (Snail Party).
From Friday to Sunday, the party will bring all kinds of snail dishes to the area near the town’s historic walls, as well as a wide range of street food, live music and children’s entertainment.
The party is free and runs from 5pm to midnight.
