National railway company Comboios de Portugal (CP) is offering discounts of up to 80% off on train tickets between Lisbon and several Portuguese cities and towns. For example, a train ticket between Faro and Lisbon will cost just €4.50.
Tickets covered by this promotional campaign (10,300 tickets in total) are for train rides between the dates of October 24 and December 19 and must be purchased at least 10 days in advance.
The campaign covers a total of 86 destinations and is valid for Alfa Pendular and Intercidades train rides.
Prices start at €2.50 for trips between Lisbon and Évora, €3 for links between Lisbon and Beja, and €4 to travel between Lisbon and Coimbra and Covilhã.
Taking a train from Lisbon to Porto will cost just €5, while train tickets for a trip between the capital and Braga and Guimarães will cost €5.50.
