Faro Council will be donating microchip scanners to local police forces – PSP, GNR and Maritime – in a bid to help them carry out “pet inspection duties”.
The council’s intentions will be made official with the signing of a protocol at the town’s new dog park in Alto de Santo António this Thursday (January 30) at 10am. The event will also showcase how these scanners are used on animals.
