Last year’s edition brought together 400 bathers on the sands of Praia Grande.
Ferragudo is in countdown mode for its annual New Year’s Day swim. The event, consolidated last year on the sands of Praia Grande, saw 400 bathers brave the January sea.
This year, for the 17th edition of the event, participants will gather on the Ferragudo beach on January 1 at 11h00 for an invigorating start to the year.
Organised by the Parish Council, the event ensures accessibility and parking for bathers and curious onlookers and greater safety on the beach and in the water.
Thanks to the Municipality of Lagoa’s support, participating bathers will once again receive a T-shirt, a hot cup of cocoa, and plenty of entertainment provided by Club Nau.
Although registration is now closed, everyone is invited to watch the New Year’s Day spectacle and be inspired to participate next year.
