Help make a difference this festive season
Don’t miss the Annual Charity Swims on Christmas Day (December 25), and New Year’s Day (January 1), from 10.30am to 12pm on the beach of Armação de Pêra, near the former mini-golf.
Take the plunge for a great cause! Grab your swimwear and towel, and dive in or simply paddle – just be sure to get wet! Add to the fun by wearing a Santa suit on Christmas Day or your pajamas on New Year’s Day.
“Everyone is welcome, adults and children alike, but please note that all participants take part at their own risk,” say organisers.
“We kindly ask for a donation to support local families in need. All proceeds will be donated to the Armação de Pêra Parish Council, ensuring your contributions make a direct impact in the community. Every donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.”
