Shopping centre will host an animal adoption campaign on Saturday

AlgarveShopping in Guia, Albufeira will host an animal adoption campaign in partnership with Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA) on Saturday, December 14.

ARA will be bringing some of the dogs it has up for adoption to the shopping centre in a bid to raise awareness about the large number of animals needing a home in the Algarve.

The animal association will be setting up shop at AlgarveShopping’s ground floor Meeting Point from 10am to 5pm, allowing shoppers who are interested in adopting to schedule a visit to the ARA shelter in Loulé.

Animal Rescue Algarve is a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Throughout the year, ARA organises several awareness campaigns to highlight the importance of responsible adoption. This event at AlgarveShopping is described as another step toward engaging the community in the cause, encouraging visitors to give these dogs a second chance at life.

“At AlgarveShopping, we are committed to sustainability and social responsibility, and we support initiatives that make a difference in our community,” said Carla Martins, the shopping centre’s manager. “This is already our second animal adoption campaign of the year, and we want to continue raising awareness about responsible adoption, offering a new opportunity to these animals and promoting their well-being.”
