Five ‘foreigners’ arrested trafficking 138,000 doses of cocaine

Five foreigners, aged between 21 and 30, have been arrested this week bringing a total of 138,000 doses of cocaine into Portugal through Lisbon airport from Latin America. Some of them had the cocaine hidden in their luggage, others hidden in their own bodies. All are being held in preventive custody while investigations continue. Only last month, a drug mule carrying cocaine inside his body died after the drugs started leaking into his system.
