Alcoutim Câmara has signed a forestry agreement with the “Associação Cumeadas” to ensure conservation on a number of levels. The €10,000 agreement will go towards reducing fire hazards, maintaining a team of forestry firefighters and promoting awareness campaigns among the local population. ‘Cumeadas’ is an association set up to dynamise sustainable investment in the borough.
