Lawyers defending former BES boss Ricardo Salgado – said to be suffering from increasing mental incapacity due to Alzheimer’s disease – are reported to be appealing the latest judicial blow which saw the Lisbon Court of Appeal EXTEND their client’s jail term from six to eight years for the undue appropriation of €10.7 million.
