Former PM’s new media roles begin on May 4

Portugal’s former prime minister António Costa is moving into the world of political commentary. He will be one of the main attractions of the new ‘NOW’ channel, promoted by Medialivre, an adjunct of Correio da Manhã and CMTV, and he will start to have his own column in the country’s ‘best read tabloid’, which will be dedicated to ‘European affairs’. All this at a point when his next move, politically, may well hinge on Operation Influencer ‘collapsing’, as news suggests it may well be on the point of doing.
