Free entry at Superbike World Championship for under 18s

Held at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve between August 9 and 11, the event will feature a Superbike Summer Fest with activities on the track and in the paddock.

With just a week to go until the start of the Superbike World Championship, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA) has announced it is offering free entry to the stands for youngsters under 18.

“We want this to be a great summer party and a celebration of Superbikes so that no one is left out. All under 18s will be able to access the stands completely free of charge during the race weekend. Many young people who live or are on holiday in the Algarve enjoy motorcycling, and we want them to follow the event live”, said an event official.

“They do not need to be accompanied by an adult or holder of a valid ticket; they can even come alone or with friends, as all youngsters under 18 will have free entry to the stands”, they concluded.

Attracting motorcycling fans of all ages, the event will also feature a parallel programme of activities designed around what will be the Superbike Summer Fest. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the famous track on two, four or more wheels and there will be plenty of activities in the paddock.

Held between August 9 and 11, the event marks the championship’s 16th run through the Algarve circuit.

Tickets are now on sale on the circuit’s official website at www.autodromodoalgarve.com, and prices start at €20.
