The campaign is part of a series of events focused on raising awareness at the shopping centre’s “Meeting Place.”

In partnership with 5th-year Medicine students from the University of Coimbra, certified by the Portuguese Cardiology Foundation, MAR Shopping Algarve is offering visitors a free cardiovascular screening.

The check-ups will be carried out at the shopping centre’s Meeting Place on August 27, between 10h00 and 22h00.

During the screening, visitors will be able to measure their blood pressure and blood glucose and calculate their Body Mass Index (BMI).

In addition to these assessments, personalised advice will be offered to help each participant reduce their cardiovascular risk and improve their quality of life.

No prior appointment is necessary to participate in this initiative, which is part of the cycle of free monthly services and awareness campaigns in MAR Shopping centres.
