Initially reported as seriously injured, victim was transported to Lagos Hospital
A German man, age not specified, has died today following a paragliding accident close to Sagres Fortress, in the Algarve.
Initial reports suggested the man had been seriously injured. A later account in the regional press brought the news that he had died.

The causes of this tragedy are “not known”, said a source for the authorities.
In all, 17 firefighters from Vila do Bispo, INEM medical responders, Maritime police and a lifeboat crew from Sagres attended. The accident happened around 2pm this afternoon.
