The tournament aims to celebrate artistic talent and promote a noble cause
On January 19, 2025, Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, in Vila Nova de Cacela, will host the Art & Charity Pro-Am Invitational, an event that brings together sport, art and solidarity in a single initiative.
Created by Valérie Londot, an artist and therapist with over 20 years’ experience, and her son, professional golfer Vitor Londot Lopes, the tournament aims to celebrate artistic talent and promote a noble cause.
The event will bring together 20 of the region’s leading golf professionals, who will compete alongside their teams of amateurs in a tournament full of challenges, in an atmosphere of collaboration and conviviality.
In addition to the competition, the event highlights the presence of recognised local artists, including Luísa Aleixo Santos, Virgílio Raposo, Arlindo Arez and Teresa Sofia Paulino, whose works will be on display.
Part of the event also includes the sale of works by Belgian artist Valérie Londot, with funds going to support local charity projects focussed on the welfare of people and animals.
This is an invitation to enjoy a unique event in the Algarve, where participants will have the opportunity to engage in a day of friendly competition and artistic contemplation, in support of a noble cause.
