Google Cloud Portugal has announced a partnership with the Unicorn Factory Lisbon AI Hub. Sofia Marta, Google Cloud Portugal’s country lead, has told Lusa on the sidelines of Lisbon Cloud Day’24 taking place at the Estoril Congress Centre that partnership is just the beginning. “We have been doing a lot of work on the start-up ecosystem in Portugal (…) if we don’t help our small and medium-sized companies, which are almost the entire business fabric, to grow and be able to cover the global market, it’s very difficult to continue growing the country’s competitiveness,” she explained, stressing the intention is to take the partnership “to another level”.
