In spite of the government having maintained its ISP discount (ISP being the special tax on fuel products) of 13.1 cêntimos per litre of diesel, and 15.3 cêntimos per litre of petrol, the Treasury has increased its carbon tax by 2 cêntimos, meaning that this particular tax adds 30 cêntimos now to every litre of diesel purchased, and 31.6 cêntimos with regard to petrol.
