Helping Estoi community centre, old people’s home and crèche

RCEPI donated a computer and video projector

Estoi Community Centre was founded to contribute to the cultural and social promotion of all the inhabitants of the parish, whatever their religious beliefs, by fostering solidarity and the active participation of the population, to form a cohesive community.

Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) has, in the past, donated a defibrillator to them. On a recent visit, members saw the facilities available, including an old people’s home with a capacity for 30 people; a crèche that can take 66 children; plus providing outside domestic help to 16 families in need. Following the visit, it was agreed that the Club would provide some of the items on their wish list.

On December 3, Anne Gompel, Chair of the RCEPI Community Working Group, accompanied by her deputy Christine Fay, went to the centre and donated a computer and video projector, which the centre was delighted to receive.

“We look forward to helping them again in the future,” said the Rotary Club.
