A Portuguese man has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for killing his cousin with a hoe after an argument last year over an irrigation system in Adaúfe, Braga.
The court proved that the suspect, 44, killed his cousin, 57, with six violent blows to his head. Arguments between the two men were commonplace. The killer also has to pay €45,000 in compensation to the victim’s children.
