Do you have an idea for a new business but don’t know where to find the start-up capital? Do you own a business and want to expand but don’t have liquid funds to free up for the development? Are you aware that there are EU funds available to help you?
afpop, Portugal’s largest foreign residents’ Association, together with their partners LPro and Neomarca, are holding two information sessions in March, where the EU funding opportunities will be presented.
Throughout the next six years, Portugal will be receiving €25 billion from Brussels as part of the 2014-2020 national framework programme entitled ‘Portugal 2020’.
Neomarca, a company that specialises in arranging funding, will be on hand to offer information about the new programme.
The meetings will begin with a presentation by Paulo Pereira of Neomarca, before questions are welcomed from the audience.
Paulo Pereira holds a degree in Corporate Finance from the University of the Algarve and since 1995 he has been developing consulting activities with the aim of supporting the financing of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) through access to European funds and incentive system financing.
Between 2007 and 2014, Neomarca secured funding for almost 240 projects, representing an investment of more than €40 million.
The sessions will take place on March 17 in Lagos (Way Point Restaurant – Marina Club at Lagos Marina) and on the 18th at Vilamoura Crowne Plaza Hotel, both starting at 8.30am.
They will last approximately 90 minutes and will include breakfast and refreshments.
The meetings will be free of charge for afpop members and cost €15 to non-members, payable in cash on the day.
