Incoming tenant finds bones behind washing machine
An incoming tenant, with a contract already signed, discovered human bones in the kitchen of her new home in Alto dos Gaios, Estoril, near Cascais, on Tuesday.
The bones do not make a complete skeleton, tabloid Correio da Manhã explains. But clearly they were distinctive enough for the woman to call police immediately.
The property has now been sealed off, while PJ forensic investigators get to work.
The new tenant found the bones “piled up and hidden behind a washing machine in the kitchen”, the paper adds. ND
