A flash estimate published today by INE (national statistics institute) suggests growth in the 3rd quarter of this year “exceeded expectations” of economists, coming in at 4.9% on growth registered during the same period last year , not the 4.5% predicted. Nonetheless, it is well down on the 7.4% year-on-year increase registered in the second quarter of the year.
