The 11th edition of the iconic event promises to take guitar lovers on a journey through different genres in unique settings.
Guitar lovers, this Festival is for you! From September 20 to October 1, Lagoa will host its renowned International Guitar Festival, showcasing talented guitarists from across the globe.
The 11th edition of the festival will be marked by unique performances that will take the public to various locations across the Municipality of Lagoa, representing its scenic, monumental, and tourist heritage.
The festival’s diverse schedule will take place against the backdrop of famous wineries and historic structures. It will showcase various musical genres and sounds popular in modern artistry and offer insights into the guitar, its musicians, and their music.
This year, the festival will showcase two fresh and thrilling projects:
From September 21 to November 3, the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium will host the “Lutes of the World” themed exhibition “Músicas de Ver.”
On October 1, World Music Day will be celebrated at the same venue, marking the conclusion of the 11th Lagoa International Guitar Festival with the performance of ‘Irish Celtic Night’.
The performances are open to all, featuring both paid and complimentary shows.
Tickets for paid-entry performances are €10 and can be purchased with a 20% discount using a cultural passport, Lagoa Social card, or Rota do Petisco 2023 Passport at the Municipality’s box office.
