The Silves winery will feature Funkynoise on December 6 and 7 for two very groovy performances.

The 8th edition of Jazz nas Adegas presents unmissable performances on December  6 and 7. Funkynoise, a quartet of talented musicians, will perform at Quinta do Francês in Silves, promising energetic and groovy sessions.

Funkynoise, inspired by the funkiest aspect of jazz, are known for their covers of iconic Grant Green songs; the legendary American guitarist who fused jazz and funk on classic albums such as “His Majesty King Funk” and “Green is Beautiful.”

João Ferreira (keyboard), Daniel Neto (guitar), Renato Chantre (electric bass), and Jorge Moniz (drums) form the band. Together, they explore the richness of compositions that cross genres, highlighting the diversity and vitality of modern jazz.

Jazz nas Adegas is a unique music festival combining the best of jazz with the excellence of Silves wines. During the event, participants can enjoy three wine tastings from the host producer, accompanied by tapas prepared with regional products.

Tickets cost €25, and they include the concert, wine tasting, and tapas. The ticket also includes a voucher to visit the Castle and Municipal Archeology Museum and a bottle of wine as a gift.

Tickets can be purchased on the BOL platform and at various points of sale, such as FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Pousadas da Juventude and Kiosques Serveasy. Organised by Silves City Hall, Jazz nas Adegas has the collaboration of Silves Wine Producers, the Silves Sul School Group and the Barmen Algarve Association.
