KATE MCCANN was said to be considering abandoning her medical career to devote more time to missing children projects. But The Resident confirmed with the McCann’s spokesman that this information is “false”.
In a report in the Sunday Times, John McCann, Madeleine’s uncle, said the family is feeling much more confident about the subject of missing children.
According to John McCann, Kate was considering a change in career since she met some of the organisations that work with children in the several countries she and her husband have visited in recent weeks.
However, this information was not confirmed by the McCann’s press department. A spokesman of the family told The Resident that “Kate is not thinking about that for the time being”.
The news referred that they wanted to get political support to create an organised information network to help in finding missing children around the world.
This network, inspired by the Amber Alert system already operating in the United States, could inform the police, the media and the public in the first hours after a child is reported missing.
