Lagoa and Dartmouth in the USA are preparing to become twin towns.
Dartmouth Mayor Shawn McDonald visited Lagoa during the first week of October to get to know the town better and discuss the terms of a twinning process with Lagoa Mayor LuĆs EncarnaĆ§Ć£o.
The process is due to be completed in March 2020.
