Lagoa Contemporary Art Exhibition celebrates artistic diversity

Between February 24 and April 27, “Art Exhibition Lagoa 2024” will showcase works by emerging Iberian artists.

Celebrating artistic diversity, “Art Exhibition Lagoa 2024” is bringing Portuguese and Spanish artists together at the Convento de São José’s Cultural Centre in Lagoa between February 24 and April 27.

“Art Exhibition Lagoa 2024 is an inclusive space where all forms of artistic expression converge”, revealed the event’s organisation.

Positioning itself as “a means of discovering and showcasing emerging artists, providing viewers with a new and exciting perspective of contemporary art”, Art Exhibition Lagoa 2024 aims to be a springboard for new talents and forms of artistic expression.

The two-month-long exhibition will showcase works of art by 11 artists and encourage collaboration among different disciplines, “becoming a catalyst for creative synergies. We want to be a meeting point for art lovers worldwide, promoting cultural exchange and enriching the global artistic panorama”, says the organisation.

In short, the Art Exhibition is a movement that promotes diversity, collaboration and artistic discovery. “Uniting two vibrant cultures, Portugal and Spain, we aspire to be a beacon for emerging artists and a captivating window for those looking to explore the many facets of contemporary art”.

The “Art Exhibition Lagoa 2024” opening will take place on February 24 at 16h30.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 09h30 to 12h30 and from 14h30 to 17h30. Entry is free.
