Lagoa’s Juizo de Comércio (commercial) court building has had to be disinfected after two staff members tested positive for Covid-19.
Three others are awaiting test results but described as asymptomatic and therefore able to continue working ‘remotely’ from their homes.
The court thus remains ‘open for business’ but with only one ‘justice official’ present. Explain reports, normally eight ‘officials of justice’ are on site at any one time.
