Lagoa council is creating ‘urban rehabilitation areas’ (ARU) in its parishes – Lagoa, Carvoeiro, Estômbar, Ferragudo, Mexilhoeira da Carregação, Parchal and Porches. Thus anyone who owns property in these areas will be able to apply for funding to carry out renovations.
